I am a little behind here so I am trying to keep up!
We were so happy to have my mom and our very very good friend Dona here to visit! My mom had the week off for her Spring Break. Yes, my Mom & Dad work for different school districts so they typically do not get the same week for Spring Break. Too bad for them but WOOHOO for me!! I have become accustom to my parents coming to my house for their Spring Breaks and look forward to it every year. I secretly hope they never have Spring Break together again! Or at least for the next two years!
Dona was able to spend most of the week with us and boy to I miss her! Some of you might remember that Dona took me in as one of her own little cubs when I first moved to Atlanta. I knew no one. I didn't have a place to live. She took me in and allowed me to live with her in her home for several months. Then I left. Then I came back. She doesn't live in Atlanta anymore so it was great to have her here. I am truly blessed to have her in my life!
Despite the rain (nearly every day) we had a GREAT week! We went to an event at the High Museum. We did lots of shopping including a trip to the outlets. Unheard of for a mom of two little ones! Mom took Millie to Toddler Thursdays at the High and she made this fabulous hat! Pedicures (with Milo!). It was so good to get some girly time and hang with the people I love most. I promise ladies, next year we will have better weather!
