Dinner time

Dinner is one of the highlights of my day. It all started when I was a kid. No matter what you were up do (sports, band, friends, school, etc) we have dinner as a family. A very important tradition that we do nightly at the Tainow house. I am very thankful that Mat is able to be home nearly every night so we enjoy this time together. We just chat about what we did that day. Laughing at each other and spending time as a family. So I decided to snap a pic of our dinner tonight. On this day, were running a little late so we did bathtime before dinner. M & M are now using adult silverware and Millie wants to eat off of an adult plate. Hopefully I can donate all the kids tableware soon!

Raleigh

These are some of my dearest Ohio girlfriends, Molly, Alison and Sonal. We had a great weekend in Raleigh attempting to provide assistance and moral support to our lovely Sonal who just had twin boys. Taking care of newborn twins while sleep deprived and slightly drunk is really fun! We shared many laughs, homemade meals and several DQ blizzards. Great times in N. Carolina.

I didn't get a pic of Sonal's husband Bruce and her other son Vijay, but here are the littlest Stokes, Samir (on the left) and Taj (on the right).

What are we up to?

Ever since the Olympics, wrestling is a new sport at our house. Millie feeds the dog every morning as part of her chores. Milo likes to get involved as the "bowl holder." Millie's words, not mine. "Siler sit" "Siler shake"

Millie's first class trip was to Petsmart for a class pet. The class came up with these names for the fish Fish face! Millie's family board IF you can read her writing....
