This week is "The Week of the Young Child" at school. Each day the entire school has a theme. Here is a bit about the program. The Week of the Young Child, in its 40th year, is an annual celebration sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). The purpose of the Week of the Young Child is to focus public attention on the needs of young children and their families and to recognize the early childhood programs and services that meet those needs. Monday, all the kids were to dress up in their jammies. Millie didn't get why Mommy and Daddy were not going to wear theirs to work. Click here for pictures of M & M in their PJ's.
