We hung a bird feeder outside of our kitchen window. A bright red cardinal found it the other day and was having a snack. I couldn't get my camera out quick enough to see the bird. Hopefully he will be back soon!

Quiet Mornings
Millie has been getting up recently, without a sound. Usually we hear her reading, playing, singing, or talking. But lately she has been getting out of bed without a sound, and checking things out around the room. Sometimes we find her sitting behind the door reading a book. Sometimes she is going through the books on her shelf. Sometimes we find her doing this...

Frog
Millie asks several times a day to play "frog" on Mat's iphone. It's a tile matching game that she has kinda gotten the hang of. I took this video the other day hoping to catch her matching the tiles. Hang in there, it's kinda long.

random tuesday videos
Millie hasn't been feeling well since Monday night. Since she had a fever and was puking, we kept her home on Tuesday just to make sure there was no more sickness. Despite feeling ill, she was actually pretty perky by the end of Tuesday. Enjoy the videos!

Hood Sunday
After our cabin adventure to Ellijay, we headed over to our new friends Alan and Meggan. Their daughter Amelia is in Millie's daycare class. Although we have heard stories of the two girls not really getting along, the two really had fun together. Now I am not going to lie, there were some tears at the beginning. But when aren't there when it comes to two 2 year olds and her toys! The parents didn't cry at all and we all got along swimmingly! We went swimming at the Hood's pool, followed by a cookout! Yum! Great Grandma Norris turns 80!
Millie's Great Grandma Norris celebrated 80 fabulous years of life on May 30! There was a great party and lots of friends & family stopped by to wish her the best. We were sad we couldn't be there. Here is the invitation I made to send to folks. I attached a picture of Grandma and her sisters. But there are many many party pictures in the link at the bottom of the page. Just FYI: they are my under my mom's Flickr account. Maxine Birthday

Meagan turns 1!!!
Play time with Vince
After another trying swim class (Millie once again wasn't too into it), Vince came over for a shower and play time before his Daddy came to pick him up.
Humpty Dumpty
During swim class Millie is learning to jump off the side of the pool, into our arms. You repeat "Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall; Humpty Dumpty had a great fallllllll" that's when the kids jump into the pool. Millie was giving it a try off her changing table.

T2 update/35 weeks
I know I haven't been blogging about this pregnancy as much as Millie's. There is just too many fun things that Millie is up to! But T2 is up to some fun things as well. Like trying to punch his way out of my belly!
I am 35 weeks this week (as of today) and time is flying by. Unlike with Millie, I can actually feel T2 and all of his little movements. If you remember, I had Anterior Placenta with Millie. But this one is a typical pregnancy. At times it is uncomfortable and I want to make him stop.
But other times, I freak out because I can't feel him moving! We went to the doctor last Tuesday and they did a quick ultrasound to make sure of his placement. He is head down. The one thing I could feel was when Millie flipped. We were at the drive in movie theater in Ohio. I was laying in the back of my parents truck and totally felt my whole stomach do a flip flop. However, this time, I didn't actually realized that T2 had flipped. But he is certainly head down. Spine on my left and his punch bag hands/feet on the right. Another new thing for me is, I am having a bit of acid reflux but nothing that a couple of Tums doesn't take care of.
Other than that, I am feeling pretty good. I am feeling heavy but pretty good. I can't believe I was still working out at this point with Millie (I worked out till I was 37 weeks). Since I am not working out with T2, I have a feeling that might come back and bite me. We shall see. My weight gain has stayed the same however.
I can't wear my wedding ring because I am starting to swell. I don't notice it much but when I compare old pictures, I am starting to see it in my hands, feet and face.
We still need to collect some of our belongings from people who we have shared the items with. I need to prepare a to-go bag for Millie and myself. We have a couple options if T2 decides to make an appearance before my mother gets to town. I am hoping to hold out until she gets here. Other than that, we are all set for T2's arrival!

Sleepover with Meagan
On Saturday, Meagan's parents had not one but two weddings on the same day! We were lucky enough to watch Meagan for the evening. The girls had a sleepover and really had a great time. Meagan became very good at going up and down Millie's steps to her bed. They had so much fun jumping around the bed and running from one side to the other. Meagan also loved the bells. I can't tell if she liked eating them or ringing them more!
After some outdoor swing time, we got the girls ready for bed. We are one month behind on "Millie's Book Club" so each girl got to open a book. Millie promptly read the book to Meagan. Click here to see all the pictures.

Swim Class 5/22 (1 video)
Now that music class is over, we enrolled Millie into a Saturday morning swim class. It's mostly parents/kids who live in Katie/Mike's complex, but they let us come along as well. Meggan, who also works at Engine 11, is the swim instructor. Millie did great at first and was interested in doing all the activities. We did some jumps into the pool and by the third jump, she had had enough of swim class. Millie pretty much screamed the rest of the time. Actually, I think Meagan was the only kid who enjoyed herself the entire time. It was kinda chilly so we are chalking it up to the kids being cold. Hopefully this week, it will be a bit more sunny and warm! Click here for a couple of pictures.

Hanging with the Navarro's and Nijjar's
Pavan's cousins, Mundeep and Jeet were in town from Canada for the weekend so we went over to visit!
GT and GG
On Wednesday, they went to Music Class where Millie tried to become and expert fiddler.
On Thursday, the ladies went shopping for Millie and T2. I had a laundry list of things that I needed at Babies R Us. That store has everything but man it's far away!
Finally on Friday, the ladies went shopping for Mommy and Daddy! We came home to a fabulous surprise of flowers for our window boxes (pictures to come)! I was great to see Millie having so much fun with her family! Here is a link to Grandma Terry's pictures!

Bee-Bop Song
There is a little boy in Millie's class that has named himself Bee-Bop. His real name is Brandon but if you ask him (or any of the other kids), his name is Bee-Bop. I think this song might be dedicated to him.

Blue Sky Concerts

Mat had to go to work so Millie and I headed to meet the Damico's for some music and dancing at the Blue Sky concert in Decatur on the square. The Bitteroots were playing and they were kind of a folk/rock band. The kids had a great time playing, dancing eating and sucking on some popsicles!
