Colorado Part 2

We dropped the running girls off at the Garden of the Gods. Molly and I went to a HOT yoga class. I will spare you from any pictures of us dripping in sweat! Colorado Part 1

Our girls weekend began with a little exercise. Two of us were training for an upcoming half marathon so they really needed to get their miles in. I hit up a really great Crossfit. I was leaving town and wanted to take a picture of them before I left for the airport. And they did this. And this. Airports kid-free are a whole new experience.

Sometimes the kids join me after a photoshoot and we have a little fun with some old friends :-)

St. Patrick's Day

Today we went to the St. Patrick's Day parade and got our green on! We had a little bonfire/cookout with some friendly faces in the neighborhood.

Milo's Trick

someone is a little unsure about the Butternut Squash Milo "tricked" his Daddy by wearing PJ's under his clothes when he went to school this morning. When he woke, he was in PJ's. He took those PJ's off and put new ones on. Put on his undies. Then his regular clothes. He was soooo excited to "trick" his daddy. Mat didn't notice until he arrived at school. Well played Milo.

DOF / February Monthly Challenge (Blog Circle)

The topic this month is shooting with a shallow DOF (Depth of Field). Basically a DOF is the distance between the nearest and farthest objects in a scene that appear acceptably sharp (or blurry) in an image. The focus range is very small - which can also be tricky if you're trying to get a certain part of the image in focus.

I am always shooting wide which is a blessing and a curse. I didn't take many of my own kids because I have been so busy taking pictures of others (see the three babies below...all done in February).
