The Dr had me come back in yesterday, August 22. She did another u/s and nothing had changed. She just called me this morning and my levels are down for the first time. Somewhere in the 300's so that's good. I am still bleeding but hopefully that will stop eventually. Something strange came out of me this morning. I had Mat take a look but we weren't alarmed. Maybe it was the blood clot? Who knows. Can I stop bleeding already?

I called and left a message with my Dr. She had me come in right away. Mat went with me which was great. The cramping started again around 8am so I was hurting. After a long wait we did the ultrasound and my cervix was surprisingly closed. And my levels from Friday were up to 512. So I took blood again but it's most likely a miscarriage. She wants to watch me just incase it could be an optopic pregnancy. It's so early that they are hoping I miscarry on my own. Although no one knows how long that will take. I am hoping soon so I can wait the month, get my period, and move on. I am in some pain now but Tylenol is certainly helping!

Dr called and levels are the same as last week. Most definitely it's a miscarriage and chances are not good for an optopic which is a good thing. I am going to take it easy this week. I am going to go in on Thursday for more blood work to make sure my levels are going down.

Mat has been soooo kind and helpful. I love him for being so supportive even though I know he is disappointed.

Time to move on and wait till this is over! I am hopeful for the next time around :-)

Sunday

Ouch! I have been at work for only an hour when I started cramping. I just popped a couple Tylenol so hopefully that will calm my uterus for a bit and I can finish my shift.

After posting something on nest I decided to page my Dr at home. So the Dr called right back and he said it could be a miscarriage or it could be a UTI. He asked me to put in a tampon, not as far as I usually would, and see if there is blood on the tip. If so, this means miscarriage. If no blood, then I might have a UTI.

I did it twice and there was blood. This sucks! If this was the case, then I was to be on bed rest and I am assuming to go the Dr tomorrow morning. Too bad I am at work today! I am going to take it easy today and hopefully see the Dr first thing tomorrow.

Saturday

So I called the doctor on Friday and left a message. She wanted me to come in and get checked out. My cervix was closed so that's a good thing. They took my blood again but we won't find out until Monday. Another long weekend! I feel good. Not cramping. I don't feel bloated or like my belly is pushing out. I don't know if that is good or bad. We will see on Monday. As of Saturday, I am still bleeding a bit. Dark blood and it's not as much.

Ovulation July 15-20

Supposed to start my period on August 1, it never showed.

We took 3 pregnancy tests over the course of 10 days and all were negative.

Went to the Doctor August 10 for a quick exam and blood test.

Results came back August 13 and it was positive. 50 Hcg. They wanted me to come back in for another blood test to be sure.

Took another pregnancy test on August 14 and there was a faint line meaning positive.

Went for blood work August 15.

I have been feeling bloated since August began but started cramping August 15 after dinner. It subsided overnight and August 16 I wiped in the morning and saw red-ish blood. More like a brownish color kinda. But but 9am, it was dark red. Waiting to hear from the doctor and I will ask her about the spotting.

Just got a call from my Gyno's nurse, Shatone. She confirmed the pregnancy! She said as long as the blood isn't bright red, I should be okay. It's probably due to "being intimate" on Tuesday evening. I can't wait to tell Mat but am going to try not to until he gets here on Saturday. Hopefully I will give him something special to break the news!

My levels were 19.4 progesterone. And 342 was my hcg. Good stuff!
So the bleeding continued today and when I got home from work it was really bright red. I worked out with no pad or tampon in. When I got back I took a shower and put in a pad. It's 11pm and it's pretty soaked with blood. So who knows what is going to happened but I think I will call the doctor tomorrow. She will probably tell me to come in and get my blood taken again. Whatever is best.

I was pretty amazing that this took on the first try so i do have to say that my expectations are not high. I am not really cramping but the bleeding is troublesome. It's scary seeing all that blood. But I have been reading on the message boards that several people bleed for awhile and there is usually not a reason!
