Been friends for awhile

Millie and Julia have known each other since birth really. Julia's mom and I became friends while on maternity leave and we still remain friends. When you go through those crazy infant stages with another mom along side, it makes everything a little easier. The 4 kids don't know each other as much as we would like but they do have fun when we get together! On this night, we did a photoshoot with the Magee's and then had a little fun afterwards.

Millie had another great behavior week so we celebrated with some ice cream...even though it was FREEZING outside! Not a big shock that we were the only ones in there!

Start with a willing participant Then get creative. At first, Millie and I saw a picture where the girl levitated off the ground. Then I realized that she didn't look as perfect as I wanted. So I flipped her over Then Mat got out the leaf blower No idea how, but this girl poses H2T (Head-To-Toe) even with a very strong leaf blower blowing in her face!! But just look at her face below! Perfection. I used this one of her feet I used this one of her upper body Then we just had some fun with the leaf blower :-) I love that she is willing to be my muse Take a background that I found online and make it amazing. Parents

There is no better sound than my parents laughing. No seriously, it is contiguous and something I look forward to daily. This might be one of my favorite photos of my parents (ever!). Especially when I know it is my kids they are laughing at. Sometimes you need call your Dad and beg him to STOP and DON'T go to Home Depot yet again because the sun is perfect and by the time he gets back to the house, the sun will be gone...and you are leaving tomorrow...and I really wanted to practice with this one lens...and everyone looks half-way decent after school...and...and...and... My Dad came back to the house, and it was worth it. For my photography friends, these are all SOOC because frankly, I am too lazy to edit any more pictures!!!

Demo Girl

Millie volunteered to be a demo girl for a group of coaches who were participating in a Crossfit Kids certification.
