This wonderful blanket was made with much love from Sue Finder in Florida. Sue has made us several things but this blanket is warm and perfect for Millie's tummy time. Millie's outfit here was from Mickey and Rocky Ashkenes. I am not sure if they follow the blog or not but she looked cute as a button! Thank you all! To see more pictures, click hereMillie is just as happy as can be. She has been a great napper this weekend. Sleeping for about 3-3.5 hours at a time. She is really enjoying sucking on her hands. She recently has been caught looking/staring at her feet. She isn't rolling over yet and doesn't seem to interested in doing that. We are trying to get her to sit up on her own but she falls right over. Maybe in a couple weeks. She is starting what might be a laugh. She is smiling and talking at the same time which usually equals a laugh! It's happens so few and far between that it's hard to get on film. I think that's about it!

Millie the Ballerina
On Saturday afternoon/evening, we meet up with all of my Mommy friends. As you can see, Millie was a ballerina. Click here to see more pictures of her in her tutu. Her tutu was made by one of Mat's friend's wives. Tonia made the tutu for Millie was it fit perfect. All the kids got dressed up in outfit. It was great to see all the girls again and meet the husbands/daddies. We got some great pictures from our night out. Click here to see the pictures from our get-together.
The many faces of Millie Tainow
I swear she doesn't make the same face twice. Enjoy all the pictures from our Saturday afternoon together.

3 months old!

To see the rest of the 3 month pictures, click here
Well, Millie is now 3 months old! Where has the time gone! She isn't feeling 100% since she got back from Ohio. She had never experienced such chilly weather and came down with a little cold. She is all stuffed up and breaths in and out all the flem. Then she will try and cough it out. I am not sure that is working so we try and squeeze it out with the sucker thing we got from the hospital. It's quite amusing but she doesn't seem to mind. She seems to be getting a little better.
She is still sucking on her hands all the time. Staring cross-eyed at them from time to time. She isn't sitting up on her own yet but her head is much stronger than it used to be. She is drinking alot of bottles. We made our first attempt to do a dream feed last night. So Millie got her first taste of formula! It was the first time she had any since she was 12 hours old. She didn't seem to mind and sucked down quite a bit. However she got up again at 6am to feed. Oh well. At least it wasn't 4am! She seems to be doing great at daycare. No complaints from the teacher.

Here is a picture of the beautiful crib that my father made. Chloe and Courtney have both slept here and Millie will as well. To see more pictures of the crib, click here.

Home bound
So Millie randomly woke up around 6:30am on Monday morning so I fed, changed her and we jetted out Kelly's door. After about 5 mins, she was snoozing again.
We were on the road by 7am.
Stopped to feed/change around 9am.
Stopped to feed/change around 11am.
Stopped to feed/change around 1pm.
Home by 3:30pm.
Each stop was about 30-45 mins. We would walk around, go to the bathroom, hang out in the car. She was simply an ANGEL! She slept the whole freakin time! It was amazing! We stopped at Engine 11 to see Mat and he had to wake her up!
I knew I could do it!

Ohio Sunday night

After the race, a tired Kenzi and Millie packed up and took off for Cincinnati. Well, actually Mom and Dad packed the car. No U-haul needed! The crib fit perfectly in the car and everything else was piled on top. I can't believe that everything fit!
The plan was to drive there and overnight in order to make the trip shorter by a couple of hours. Millie and I drove to Cincy around 4ish and she did NOT like that drive. We had to stop twice and Millie cried almost the entire time. I was worried about the next day. It didn't look good! If the trip to Cincy was this bad, how was she going to make it to Atlanta!?!?!?
We made it and went to visit my friend Lauren and her family. Lauren and I also went to elementary school together and walked to school each day. We are old friends and it was great to finally see her amazing house. Her son Glen is adorable and loved playing with the cell phone. We would ask him who was calling and he would say "Bama". I loved to say Obama! We had delicious pizza and dessert at their house! Our friend Cindy was there and Kelly too. After dinner we took off for Kelly's place where we were sleeping that night.
Kelly and Alex just moved into a great apartment in Cincy. It so big and spacious with a garage! Really nice place! Alex & Kelly are the two youngest people living there by far! It was so nice of them to let us stay there that night.

Sunday - Marathon Day

Believe it or not, I have no pictures of us at the marathon but we did it!!! Kari is supposed to send me some pictures.
It was really really cold but we kept warm. 11,000 particpants! We all finished under 4 hours. Katie, Kari and I stayed together walking much faster than our 10-mile pace. We all ran to every mile marker which actually makes your body feel better. Just kinda breaks things up. I was kinda done at around 10 miles but pressed on. We crossed the finish line at 3:39. It was a great course. A couple of long boring stretches but for the most part, it was really pretty.
Mom and Cindy were certainly the most fit and most prepared out of our group. They kept a great pace and did fabulously!! I think those two are the least sore out of all of us!
Anyone want to join us next year?

Little Ohio U Ladies

Mama D bought the ladies OU shirts for a little fall photo shoot. They looked adorable and sat for pictures very well! Courtney was such a ham and Chloe looked so beautiful. Millie sat quietly and stared at her hands. She kinda goes crossed-eyed when she looks at them. Enjoy the pictures from the OU shoot, click here!

Shawna and Gary Green stopped by the photo shoot to meet little Millie. They are great family friends of ours. I was happy they were able to come out. To see those couple of pictures, click here.
Ohio Saturday

On Saturday Millie and I packed up and went to Columbus to meet some friends for lunch. My friend Kelly, from college, and her Mom came down from Cleveland and we met for lunch. It was so sweet of them to come down and it was great that they got to meet Millie. Karla even came over to meet us. It was great getting caught up with everyone. Millie wasn't the happiest but it was loud in the restaurant. She certainly slept the entire way home!

Ohio Friday

Friday was great because Mom and Dad were off from school. So we just hung out in the morning, Millie's favorite time. Mom and I ran around buying all kinds of winter clothes for Millie. It was quite cold in Ohio and I only brought a couple long sleeved outfits. So we bought lots of pants and long sleeved onesies.
Kari's baby clothes have been so PERFECT since she was born. But since Millie was born in July, and her kids in Feb/March, we are off season just a bit. She is a VERY well dressed kiddo!
That afternoon we went for one last walk to prepare ourselves for Sunday. We walked for about quite awhile but it felt good. I had recovered from our 10 miler and was feeling good.
Friday night we went over to Katie's house to meet Kelly and Michelle/Bart and her two kids Grant & Gracie. Kelly and I have been friends for years. She lives in Cincinnati and came up just for the weekend. It was great to see her and hang out just like high school times! Michelle and I went to elementary school together and have been friends ever since. We used to walk to school together every day! She has two beautiful children Grant (3) and Gracie (9 months). Great Grandma Norris

Click here for some cute pictures with Great Grandma Norris
Grandma Norris came to Atlanta when Millie was first born. She said today and if she saw Millie on the street today, she wouldn't have recognize her! She IS porking up!
We have noticed today that she is really focusing in on her hands. Kinda going cross-eyed when looking at her hands. I think she is beginning to realized that those fun things are attached to her! I'll try and get a picture of it tomorrow.
Millie meets Sonal & Vijay Kadakia Stokes
Click here to see the amazing pictures from today!
Sonal and I have been friends for years. We went to High School together and have stayed close ever since. Sonal, her husband Bruce and Vijay all live in Raleigh. They just happen to be in Lancaster at the same time as us!

Some of you might remember me blogging about Sonal's rough pregnancy. Vijay was due a month after Millie but was born a month before her. But he is doing great now! He is longer and leaner than Millie. And cute as a button as you can see! It was great to catch up with Sonal and meet Vijay today. Millie and Vijay will be friends for a long time!
