A Day in the Life / May Monthly Challenge (Blog Circle)

Of course I wait till the last minute to do my assignment, but I did do it! One of the tips of this month's assignment was to pick a day where there is nothing special going on. Nice and easy to make it easy to photograph your day. Well, I didn't do that. And, after reading all the other ladies blogs, I realize that I want to do this one again when it is a typical day-in-the-life of the Tainow family. But in any case, here we go.

Ellenwood Horse Farm

Millie will be going to Horse Camp this summer. We took some time to check out the facilities so she knew just where to go and what to expect. I always found this helpful as a kid. Although my kids are great about adapting to new situations quickly, this was ALL new to her.

The day started with tributes, kudos, thank you's and a slide show of photos from our year. Then we all found a spot in garden area to sit with Millie so she could show us the work she chose to share with us in her portfolio. Millie's "Habitat" She made it all by hand which included finding actual trash for the raccoon's trash can.
