St. Simons Day 4 (Sunday)

We spent the morning at the pool before heading home. But before hitting the road, we stopped for seafood one last time. Here is a video of Millie eating oysters. This girl will eat ANYTHING! This was taken with my iPhone but does ANYONE see his freckles? I will try and get a better picture soon! Balloon animal fun for the ride home! The kids were troopers both ways as we hit several accidents along our route to/from the beach which made boths drives longer than expected.

St. Simons has some really nice shallow water which was perfect for the kids. Plenty of tidal pool for the kids to play in. The adults just sat back and watched, some got a little burnt. A little quote from Milo to another little girl who came over to play with him "Do you wanna get sandy with me?"

I barrowed this wagon for a photoshoot but I thought it might make a great prop for our 4th of July photoshoot. So I gathered the kids in thier red, white and blue and with Mat as my traffic cop, I headed out to....the front of my house and did a little shoot for the 4th! St. Simons Day 1 (Thursday)

Millie's decoration for the 4th! The kids were so great on the way down despite the traffic. Awiting the fireworks Glow hat! Several of these were taken with my DSLR in the pitch black, manually focusing while a firework was going off...wasn't easy!!

Gymnastics For Crossfitters

I stepped out of my comfort zone to try something I have been wanting to attempt. Gymnastics & Crossfit go hand in hand and so I honestly thought it was going to be a bit easier than it was! But I challenged myself and I did things I didn't think I could do! They do this monthly so I am hoping to go back next month! Not as easy as it looks, see?!?

Happy Birthday Milo!

This little boy is one of the sweetest little boys you will ever know. He is kind, so sweet, fun and funny. He loves to make you laugh and make himself laugh. He SCREAMS "MOMMY" or "DADDY" no matter if he just saw you 5 mins ago. He gives the very best hugs, he grabs your face with is two tiny hands to give you a kiss on the lips, he has the most hilarious cry face I have ever seen. I can't help but laugh. He looooves his big sister and lets her boss him around. He has lots of friends at school and always has a story to share. He obliges to my every attempt at a photoshoot. He looooves hats which we think he wears so very well. I hardly ever remember a day without his sweet spirit and smile. Some days I can't believe we have two kids and the youngest is 3!!! Other days I can't believe our sweet boy is 3 already!

Watch it grow

We planted this planter with bulbs and they just started to appear as the kids left for Grandparent Camp. I kept a close eye on the planter and snapped daily iphone pictures for the kids.
