We started the day here. And watched Cole do this. Then we went here and acted like this And watched the sun do this. We were all dress appropratly of course

Ice Cream Social

It was just too hot to take pictures. So I grabbed these two at the ANCS Ice Cream Social. Here is Millie wearing her NEW school shirt which she loves. I took the kids out to dinner and we snapped this pic.

First Day of School

"A picture is worth a thousand words."
At this moment...I wondered...what is she thinking...feeling...so quiet, probably a little scared but she wouldn't admit it. One last pep talk! Big girl all by herself! Today was a good day First day was really good it seem! She wasn't as forthcoming with information as she usually is. Maybe she was a little overwhelmed? But as the night continued she shared a bit more about her day. Class rules. The names of the kids in her class. Lunch time. No recess since it was POURING rain yesterday. Hopefully today they can go outside. I was there to pick her up afterschool and she ran into my arms. We picked Milo up and took them to get a post-first-day-or-school-smoothie.

Orientation

These are a few pictures from Kindergarten orientation. The kids and parent got to meet the teachers and see the classroom. I have no idea who the girl is that is sitting by Milo. But she wanted to be in the picture which was fine by me.

Last days of summer...

Tea Party for 6 (well, 7 including Milo)

Millie wanted to do a Princess Tea Party for her 5th birthday. She had 5 of her girly besties of for tea and they had a ball. They decorated their cupcakes, they had tea, they had cookies, they played dress up, they danced & sang. I had no idea that some of the girls would actually want tea (I used strawberry lemonade) so Mat quickly warmed up a batch of tea for them.

This was the first party that I invited parents to stay or to drop off their princess. Only one parents stayed and the girls were as happy as can be with their independence. I should have taken some video because it was quite hilarious. They were singing, dancing, SCREAMING, changing costumes, playing princess, we opened up presents, they played inside, they played outside. They worked up quite a sweat and a great time!

Thankfully I was able to grab a few pics while hosting the tea. *Those are cupcakes in those white silcone cups*

Haircuts

New haircuts for the new school year!
