100th day of school

Never knew it until this month but apparently, this is a big deal! The kids made Pecan pancakes from the pecans they found in the playground. They also had a big party at the school.

superbowl sunday

One of our favorite videos for the car. Wonder what these videos actually look like? We have never seen them!


The kids and I had a "special" dinner which means we get to eat in front of the TV. Mostly because Momma had a long photography day and wanted to watch the Superbowl and unwind! I was pumped for the halftime show and so were the kids. They loved it! Millie requested that we watch it twice and then wanted to watch it more the next day!

Milo counts

He has been doing this for awhile but I haven't had my camera ready. I have heard him go as far up as 7...then jumps to 9 and 10! Smart boy!

I found a pond

Millie and I went on a little location scouting. Looking forward to taking many pictures around this lake which is just about 2 miles from our house!

Bacon anyone?

Yes, he is double fisting bacon. We are enjoying trying the new items on the Engine 11 menu. They are using the E11 kitchen as a tester kitchen for the bar, Park Bar which is due to open in just a few weeks!

Turning the Tables

I have talked about Jennifer Conklin of Jennifer Conklin Photography) before. My husband might actually be annoyed with how much I talk about Jen. But finally we were able to get in front of her camera, as a family. In which she did some amazing things! Jennifer is not only a good friend but kinda my "photography business partner" who I totally admire. So when she agreed to take pictures of my family, I was honored. And she did a fabulous job as I knew she would! Now...if I could just return the favor for her some day! JC: get your booty to Atlanta!



So, we did this little photo session with my family over the holiday while we were in Ohio. First time ever doing a photoshoot so that was fun. The sun was shining but it was freezing. Poor Millie in her little dress but she was a trooper despite her red face.

You will see some pictures, at the end of the album of me in a yellow sweater (Thank you Caroline!) that Jen took so I could update my website. Along with the fabulous Kerri Rodenbaugh, we had a great time taking photos of each other for our websites!
