I have always wanted to decorate my house like this and I thank Mat for stringing all the lights just so!

Shopping at Target. We had Meagan with me. 3 kids. Toy section. They were angels.

I got this in the mail. The second Christmas card I have received with MY picture on it! I love it! The wallet pics on the right were in a Christmas card from someone else. They were taken by my good friend Jennifer Conklin of Jennifer Conklin Photography. You would be a fool not to hire her if you were in or visiting anywhere around Lancaster. Or frankly, in the state of Ohio. She.is.amazing.

Hanukkah has arrived at the Tainow house! And this was the day before yesterday when the UPS man came twice to drop off more packages!

We went to the CNN Christmas Party and this is one of the only pictures I got from the night! This is me and my friend Cori.

Inspired by Aunt Nancy and Papa Jon, I am now officially on the registry as a Bone Marrow donor. I have been trying to organize a bone marrow registry drive but have not been successful just yet! I am still working on it!

Hanging with Meagan (videos)

We were lucky enough to hang out with Meagan a couple days after school. She was a blast and the kids had a ton of fun! Enjoy the videos!

December 12
On our way to pick Meagan up

Birthday wishes for Caroline!

We celebrated Hanukkah a little early this year. Grandma and Grandpa Tainow sent some amazing gifts! We had to get started early just to set them all up! Now that the train table is put together we are still looking for an alternative "lift" so Milo can dunk his ball into the net!

Santa Pictures

We went to visit Santa today (actually 12/3 but who is really paying attention?). I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to get any pictures of the two of them, so I napped a couple before I left. I was by myself and clearly did not have treats for Milo. However Millie was rocking it out.

It looks like we planned all of their outfits. We did not. But they could be in a magazine!

And now on to the big man. We turned the corner and Millie saw him. She was so excited and asked me right away where his reindeer were.

Milo in wonder...

Millie gave 3 of the most bizarre smiles but she loved it! She was very quiet and didn't talk to him much. But finally told him a few things she wanted for Christmas. He was

Dance Recital (videos)

Millie has been in dance class for 6 weeks now and they had a little performance for the parents to show what they have been doing. I was happy to report that there were no chairs or poles involved! There was a group of preschoolers. And a group of pre-k kids.

Here they are all dressed and ready!

Here was the program:

Here is what they do to warm up.

And the big performance! Millie starting singing this song a couple weeks ago and we had no idea how she new the words. We understand now!! I think Millie is second to youngest in her class. Most kids are age 3 or 4. The dancing queen didn't want to take off her sparkly red Toms.

And finally the chant they do at the end of class. She has been saying parts of this over the past couple weeks too.

Happy Birthday to Rigsbee!

If you listen, he clearly says Jonah!

When I am picking the kids up from school, I usually go to get Millie first.
