Poor guy

He hasn't looked all that great since Sunday. His eyes were red, crusty and gooey. We pushed our way into the doctors office yesterday and they were able to squeeze us in. Double pink eye. We started the drops and he should be good to go in 24 hours. We will be keeping him home today so he doesn't get any of this buddies sick. Poor Buckle!

Milo's first taste of something other than formula or rice cereal!! He seem to enjoy the carrots! We are trying to start with some simple sign language. It really helped when Millie wasn't talking yet. Hopefully Milo will catch on.

He is eating rice cereal twice a day at school, right before his bottle. He seems to be doing really well at it and the school provides it which is great! Less for us to do at home. Once he hits 8 months, they will feed him a fruit at breakfast and a veggie at lunch. They provide that as well. WOOHOO!

Sunday Park

Sunday we went to a new playground with the Navarros then to brunch. Do you know how funny it is to ask for a table for 4 adults with 4 highchairs? I should have taken a picture of the table. It was quite hilarious.

Rigsbee

My good friend Amy got a new doggie named Rigsbee. She is a Cavapoo puppy which is a mix between a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Poodle. Enjoy the video and click here to see the pictures.

Brandon's Birthday Party

There are several videos so click here to see them all. It was her classmate Brandon's birthday and we went to help celebrate. You can see Millie's buddy Bailey in the white sweater. She was the one having some issues with her legs. You can see that she is basically running now which is great!! Millie, Bailey, and Marlon all had a great time. The birthday boy wasn't feeling the birthday love. He didn't care much for the bounce house. I don't even think he took his shoes off and tears were streaming down his face as we were singing happy birthday to him. He was the saddest birthday boy ever! But we sure had fun!

Milo enjoys the winter months. All bundled. Snug in his car seat. Milo also enjoys an evening nap in his favorite position. Sometimes he literally doesn't wake up until after Millie goes to bed (8pm). Here was Milo last night from about 5p until around 8:30pm.

Trip to Costco

Milo to the allergist

Milo had an appointment today with the allergist. They looked over this blood work and tested for about 22 different allergies. Nuts included: Almond, Brazil Nuts, Cashew, Pecan, Pistachios, Walnuts, Coconuts. Seafood included: Codfish, Tuna, Crab, Shrimp. Others: Soy, Peanut, Wheat, Egg Yolk, Egg White, Casein, Fresh Milk and Milk. The only thing he showed a reaction to was Fresh Milk! At least we know what it is he is allergic to! So we will stay away from Milk for now and check back in 6 months.




Millie was a great big sister and was pretty well behaved during the doctors visit. I think she might have been smitten with Dr. Seidu!

In the mean time, he is now doing great on the Hyper-Allergenic formula. It was a struggle for about 2 weeks and boy he was fighting it. He went on a bit of a hunger strike but has come to terms with the stinky stuff. And man is that formula stinky!! Poor bug. But he seems to be enjoying the bottles and gets all excited when he spots one from a distance. He is doing a great job holding is own bottle and even trying to one-hand it! He is complete weaned as of Atlanta's snowpocalypse.

Well, at least my kids have one thing of mine...blue eyes.

This is Millie's second week in gymnastics at Tumbleweeds. She is really loving it and looks forward to going every week. It certainly helps that her buddy Meagan is there too. She seems to be on the older end of the age group and follows direction really well. If she is still enjoying it, we will bump up to the older kids for the next session. Enjoy!

Sleepy Time

Millie is really enjoying her bedtime routine that includes brushing her teeth. It took awhile to get her to brush her teeth and now we can't get her to stop! She brushes herself for awhile and then we finish things up. She prefers to use my toothpaste versus her kids toothpaste. She isn't the best spitter but she likes to practice!
