Dad's Trip
My Dad came in this week to spend his Spring Break with us. I wanted him to relax and have a nice week in the warm sunny GA weather. However Dad had some other plans. He finished up the playroom, power washed our house, wash and stained our back deck, cleaned out and literally cleaned our gutters, stripped and restained our kitchen table, picked up and stained our 4 new kitchen chairs, fixed this, fixed that. I am sure I didn't even list exactly everything he did to our house and to generally help us out! It was amazing! We still managed to eat some good food and catch a Braves game. I promise we didn't make it work the entire time he was here!
Millie still doesn't get where everyone went! She asks daily "Where's Mama" and "Where's Papa" everyday. Click here to see the pictures from the week.

The hunt
We went over to the Navarro's who had a great Easter egg hunt for the kids in the hood. Millie kinda got the hang of it but really was interested in opening the eggs and eating all the candy (wrapper and all).

Easter Pictures
We did a little photoshoot in Millie's Easter dress. We did this on Friday because we knew Sunday would be a bit hectic. She did great and I love the way the pictures turned out! Vince's 2nd Birthday Party pictures

Mom's Trip
We did have a great time when Mom was here visiting! Besides the playroom, she helped organize my kitchen and do a bit of spring cleaning. We also framed several pieces of art work that were well overdue for hanging. She also helped us lower the shades so we could bring in more light into the house. She got us allllllllll organized! But after the work was completed each night, we had a great time playing in the yard. Going to music class. Swinging with Millie. Going to the playground. Hitting an art show. Going out to eat. Going to a party. I think a great week was had by all! And again, I can't ever thank Mom for the hard word she put in on her "week off".
